The society held it's first annual "Heritage Dinner" Sunday, February 27th and it proved to be successful. Twelve women, long time area residents were honored for their lifelong contributions to society. Festivities included a served dinner, entertainment by the Salmon River Outlaws, a Chinese auction and a "through the years" slide show of our honorees with presentation of certificates. Society members has also put together a scrapbook album featuring one honoree on each page. Applications will be available in early April for nominating next year's honorees. Beginning in 2006 the society will be honoring ten women every year.

The society will also have forms available in early April for honoring the areas men in history. Our men will be honored at the kick off dinner to the "Barn Again" exhibit opening in Tensed, Idaho November 12, 2005 and running through December 17th.
