This is an email I sent to John Murray who is helping me with my Rediger line. See if it is helpful to you.
Dear John:
Thank you so much for answering my email. Your information is very helpful and I appreciate your sending a copy of this email to Lois Mast and Nelson Rediger. Hopefully I will hear from them as well. I do know that several of the Rediger's were Mennonite ministers in Illinois, Ohio and Nebraska. I am just stuck on my great grandfather Jacob Rediger, who I assume was the illegitimate child of Magdalena Rediger who was the daughter of Sebastian Rediger and Anna Letterer or Lederer. It shows that Jakob was born in 1833 which is the year my great grandfather was born. Therefore, I am going to try intently to find out more about him and his mother Magdalena. I will keep you informed of my progress. Thank you again for being an interested ancestor of my wonderful Rediger family.
