Surnames: Schottlin - Schoettlin - Shottlin
Need information on Gottlieb (b. abt 1829) and Verona (b. abt 1826, maiden name unk) Schottlin (also seen as Schoettlin, Schuttlin and Shottlin); immigrated to USA abt 1862-1865 from Hallau, Schaffhausen, Switzerland; settled in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co, IN, USA, area. Gottlieb died b/t 1870-1880; Verona died 1910 in Evansville, IN, USA. Spellings on the last names are creative in immigration and census records. They had 6 children (two known are Jacob, b. abt 1865, in Vanderburgh Co, IN, USA; Peter, b. abt 1862 in Switzerland); only one child was still living in 1910 (believe that was Jacob). Looking particularly for marriage and birth records but will take any information.
