Have just seen several communications from you on Rootsweb re Ridgway.I am descended from an Elizabeth Ridgway,allegedly b.Maltby in 1829,but I think,living in Manchester from an early age.I think she had several siblings,including William b. Maltby 1821.
On her wedding certificate she gave her father's name as Thomas,and his occupation as shoemaker.(I know there was a Maltby Thomas,roughly contemporary,who was a stone mason-perhaps a cousin?)
I believe my Thomas's wife may have been Ann Markham.
Do you know of these Ridgways? I'd be interested in any information you may have
