I have not obtained official SAR or DAR records. I have documentation from Descendant Christopher Truby as you do Jacob Truby and Maria Magdaline Lauffer daughter,Elizabeth Truby married John Rumbaugh, Son Simeon Rumbaugh Married Elvira Robinson, son Elmer Cogley Rumbaugh, married Della Elizabeth Elliott, daughter, Virginia Elizabeth Rumbaugh married Lester Robert Beatty, Son Lester Robert Beatty.
Lester Robert Beatty owns the Rumbaugh Homestead in Hillville, Perry Twp. Pa. Virginia's brother Joseph Simeon Rumbaugh was a SAR member, Florida SAR Past President. Joseph went in SAR thru Truby line.
