Hi,

Thanks for your response. My great great grandmother was Mary Jane Crowley who married Ainsley Poulson from Chesterfield County, SC. Censuses state that both Mary Jane and Ainsley were born in South Carolina. I'm interested in knowing, in particular, who Mary Jane's parents were or any information about the Crowleys who were living in Chesterfield County in the early 1800s.
Do you happen to know if there is any connection to the Crowleys in Chesterfield County in the early 1800s and the Grooms or Ivy families from Sumter County?

I have some information on the Hall family from Chesterfield County in the early 1800s. Silas Hall's will is on microfilm at the So. Carolina Dept of History and Archives and I have two or three plat drawings with the names William Hall and/or Henry Hall (dated c1813)on them.

I hope this is helpful,

Norma
