Mary Waterston was my Great-Grandmother. Thanks to Sally, I was able to learn much about Mary's history. Prior to that, all my family knew was that Mary was orphaned in Scotland, and somehow made her way to North America. She was in San Francisco during the Great Quake of 1906. I recently came across a number of photos of Mary after she married George Comber, my Great-Grandfather. I also have photos of her first child, a daughter named Hope. Once I have an opportunity to scan the items, I will be glad to post.

To now hear that someone has information on David Waterston, Mary's father, is very gratifying and exciting.
