Hi...I've seen that entry before but unless they really messed up on the age, I don't think it could be. My grandfather was born in 1895 so would have been 15...not 8. My problem I guess is in not knowing the steps to take to try to take it from here. Grandfather was from the Wandsworth area of London but I suppose a departure point of Liverpool could be correct. On a border crossing document from 1942, his twin brother Alfred stated that he (Alfred) had arrived in Canada in 1923 on the Steamship Auriana. So, apparently, George was the only child in the family that was sent to Canada as a child??? It's very confusing!
