Classification: Query
Surnames: McVittie
Looking for information on Joseph and John McVittie ( twins) born 1904 and in 1911 were in Dr. Barnardo's Home for Little and Crippled boys in London. They were sent to Canada 29 March 1915 on the Scandinavian at age 14. destination Toronto.
Found a mention of a John McVittie- expert tobacco grower-
on Tweetybird. There was also a brother Albert who was at the Barnardo home but he stayed in England. Another older brother Robert was sent to Canada in 1910 and settled in Sherbrooke Quebec.
If anyone has any info regarding the twins and where they settled I would appreciate it.
Thank you
Sue
