My Grandmother was a BHC and I fould alot about her bythe records that the agent that sent her over had. They and info about her sister that came over as well as where both my grandmother and great aunt stayed/worked etc. The records also listed her other brothers and sisters that were to old to be sent over as BHC.
They were born in London but came over through MRS Brits Home. The recourds were taken over years later by Barnardos, and it seams that they hold records from other homes that shiped out BHC as well.
I would contact them and see if they have any info on Ada and if they do it is worth the cost to get copies of the records they have as they do hold all kinds of great info in them.
