Orphanages of Arizona?

Does anyone know of a orphanage/indian boarding school c. 1914 around the Phoenix, AZ area?
My grandfather Juan Cabrera Nevarez was half Hopi and half Mexican American and became an orphan around 1914. His mother Maria Jesusita Cabrera died when he was 6 (1909) and his father died when he was 11 (1914) and her family wouldn't take him because he was an indian.
Anyways, he did mention he was in an orphanage/boarding school but soon ran away because of the treatment he received.
I would like to see if I can obtain some records about him if one existed or records were moved to an archive.
