I am also looking for info about an infant adopted through what sounds like the same place. My father was born in 1922, and during this time the Native Daughters of the Golden West operated a home for orphans and babies who had been given up for adoption. My father's birth certificate (altered) listed his place of birth as San Francisco, but I think there was also a home in North Oakland.
