Please help, names of Orphanage near Berwind Colorado 1911
I am looking for children/friends/adoptive family of Eleanor Martinez born around 1902. I am not sure if she was placed in a orphanage and then to a family or if she was just placed with a family. She is my great-aunt and although we have never met her she is a missing link in our lives. My grandfather (louis Martinez), which is Eleanor's biological brother, named his daughter after her. At the time of her placement Louis and Bennie Martinez searched for her but the family moved away purposely. If anyone has information or can tell me names of any orphanage in the Las Animas County area in 1911. I would be so greatful. Thank You,
