I was at the Bibb County Childrens Home in Bibb County,Ga. FROM THE SUMMER OF 1960 TIL THE WINTER OF 1965. It was a great place. I was there along with my older brother and sister and a younger sister. We were sent there because our momma was too sick to care for us [kidney diease]. And who knows where our so called daddy was at., They took very good care of us. I for one deserved a lot more spankings than I got. Thats right spankings not beatings.
Anyway we never wanted for anything while there. It was probably the best thing ever to happen to me. If not for going there I would have had grown up in downtown Macon.
