I am trying to find a list of GA orphanages or the names of any orphanages in Jackson or Banks County GA around the late 1926-1940's any and all help greatly appreciated. I am trying to find my grandfather and his sister and I know that he was born in 1926 and he said his mother died when he was young and she put him and his sister in an orphanage because she didn't want her brother to raise them because she said he treated his children like work horses. My grandfather's name was Millard Buford Robinson B: 1926 in Banks Co. GA and his sister's name was Willie Mae Robinson birth year not known. Thank you for you time., Sandy
