The Cradle told me. I was transferred from St. Vincent's to the Cradle in Evanston. It's difficult at our age (I was born Jan '42) to get information. My OBC says my bmother(Lillian Margaret Smith) lived on the southside on E. 73rd St. Has your husband applied for his original birth certificate. He can get it now in IL. Where did you do the DNA test? I've done all 3 ponds, so to speak (FTDNA, Ancestry, and 23 and Me). St. Vincent's would have been a good place to check, but Catholic Charities or the archdiocese claims they don't have the records. Are you talking about his bmom or adopted mom marking out stuff? . They are a wonderful group of search angels, computer programmers, DNA specialists, etc. who are there to help us at no charge. My search angel found my bfather's family(Johnson) in a very short time. It is concerned with helping adoptees find their families. Many successes!!
