Hi Gina,

Yes, I have all the paperwork from St. Mary's. Fortunately, I only live about 20 mins from Maryville (the new name) and was able to pick up the paperwork in person. I am sure if you call them they would be willing to share any information they have. I was able to obtain court documents, school records and school administration records.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I have lived in the neighborhood my whole life and remember hearing many stories about growing up there. My grandfather was Joseph Peterson and his brother was Arthur. They both grew up at St. Mary's after being transferred from Chicago Industrial Home in Woodstock, which took in children from "broken homes." They were transferred to St. Mary's in 1928. I do have a photo of his graduation class around 1930.

Thanks,
Karen
