I'm so happy for you that you were able to connect with your birth family. I appreciate the information you provided regarding St. Vincent. My mother was adopted through St. Vincent but I have her baptismal certificate with her birth parents names. There is some question as to how old she was when adopted so possibly that is why she had it. I also had a sister and brother that were adopted from St. Vincent in 1950 and 1952. The forms you described don't sound like they would be very helpful for them so I understand why you didn't send them in.

I thought I'd post my mom's information just in case there are relatives out there that might recognize the names.

Mary Alice Guinan born September 10, 1924
Baptismal certificate states that her parents were Grant and Bernice O'Brien and that her birth name was Loraine O'Brien.
She was baptized September 12, 1924 in St. Vincent Chapel, 721 N. LaSalle St.
The sponsors were James Mayer or Myer and Gladys Boyle.

Thanks,
Peggie
