I was just out at St. Vincents. i was doing some work in freeport and decided to stop by St. Vincents and remember my time there and the kids I knew. I'm Mark menke and was there with my siblings. I graduated in 1962. My brother Chuck was in 7th grade. Mys sisters Sheryk, Wendy Margery, Terri and my younger brother Bill werre there too. Margery, terri, and Bill were in the baby house; Sheryl and Wendy were in about 2nd and 3rd grade.
Sister Lucy was a huge Cincinnati Reds Baseball fan; Sister carmela used to repair our baseballs. Sister Frances Clare taught 7th and 8th grade and had perhaps the meanest finger on the planet! I felt sorry for a kid named Leslie Dillon; he bore the brunt of it many times. Si ter Lourdene used to wake us up by turning on the lights and banging her stick against the wall. I worked on the farm my last year there; I hated cutting through the cemetary! Most of the buildings are gone; it is now a home for the aged. The football field is overgrown and the swimming pool/gym are gone too.You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org
