New Orleans Orphanage mid-late 1800s

Looking for my husband's grandmother's origins. She was given to an Orphanage in New Orleans, LA after her birth-father died and her birth-mother married a Methodist Minister. She was adopted by a woman in mid 1800s that our family always called "Aunt Joe". She was English and ran a big general store and bar.
Anybody know where I can look for the name of the Orphanage?
