Surnames: Carpenter
Since their names were listed on the 1900 and 1910 census forms for the St. Joseph Catholic Orphanage,I'm sure they were there, but they may have been somewhere else before this. They were Ethel and Bessie Carpenter. Their ages are incorrect on the census forms. Ethel was born in 1894 and Bessie was born in 1893. Bessie was taken in by a family by the time the 1910 census was taken, but Ethel remained there until she married at the age of 18. Thank you so much for your help and concern.bayoucher2
