I corresponded with a Sister who works with church records in my city. I was directed to her by the genealogy librarian. My grandmother was in a Catholic orphanage. The Sisters who ran the orphanage are no longer in my city,so I emailed a contact (another Sister who worked with such records)in their new location which was Wichita, Kansas. She had no luck with locating any information on my grandmother, so I contacted her once a month to see if she had made any progress on finding someone who could locate the records. Finally she located a Sister in Tennessee who knew the records and she called me. She is making a trip to Wichita in June and agreed to look for the records. So hopefully she will have success in finding some information on my grandmother. This is my final hope of finding information about my grandmother. Hope you have some suuces. I can let you know if any records are found. bayoucher2
