I searching for my mothers childhood, while she was in franco-american orphanage,Lowell,Ma. the years 1938-1954.. Her name would have been Claire I. Champoux, she has 4 sisters, Lillian, Rita, Annette, Teresa. My mother would never talk or tell us about her childhood growing up in the orphanage,she would only speak french to her sisters about it.my mother had recently past away 4 months ago,my sisters and I would like to know what it was like to grow up in the orphanage.. thank you
