My gr grandmother was injured in a fire in an orphanage in Maine; was evacuated by train; destination was another orphanage. The train stopped overnight in Laconia NH and the local Catholic priest placed the children in homes for the night. She became a member of the family. Her brother travelled on to Poughkeepsie NY. Does any one know of this institution or sister institutution in NY? Is this familiar at all? Thank you
