Sigfrid, an orphan in Minnesota

Ester Persson, emigrated from Sweden in Dec 1915 and stayed in Lindstrom, Minnesota, for some years. She gave birth to a son, Sigfrid, in 1916. Some years later she met her husband to be and they both returned to Sweden, leaving Sigfrid in an orphanage in Minnesota. Ester's children in her second marriage,love to get in contact with Sigfrid (if he is still alive) or his relatives in the United States.
Of course I understand that the chance of finding Sigfrid is almost none, especially as we don't know his second name. His mother's name was Persson, his father's name Nilsson and probably he got a third name when he was adopted. Is there anyone who could possibly help me?
