I have noticed an older posting looking for information about an orphanage either in Chillicothe or just with that name. I would appreciate any information about where or not it did exist; I too have been told it burned down in the late 1890's. I am looking for my G.Grandmother, Martha Frankum, who was in that orphanage with 4 or possibly 5 siblings. My grandmother had heard that the orphanage was for native americans, so I suppose that it is possible it was a boarding school, although all of the children were orphaned.
