I'm looking for information on the Fitzsimmons House; an orphange wehre my husband's father and his sister were adopted from in 1927. Family story is that this located in Omaha, Nebraska - I have been looking for several years and have yet to find it. My husband's grandmother, Wilhelmina Barbara Weible, was baptized in the Zion Lutheram Church in 1887. Both children were 2 years old at the time of the adoption: grace arlan weible, born 01/1925 and paul weible, born 02/1925. Of course, these were not their birth names. Could it be possible that they were adoptedf from the Freemont Luthern Orphange? I've no information on it; would it have been within a reasonable distance of Omaha? Would there be any records to show that this german couple could have possibly adopted 2 2-year old children from there? thanks,
