Hello.

I couldn't help but throw a post up.

My grandmother - Josephine Siracusa was placed here after her parents divorced and her mother decided she didn't want her anymore. Her father Vincenzo, would pick her up on the weekends and do things. the visits stopped sometime around 1936-1937 when he passed away. My goal is to find his grave so my grandmother can finally see it and say hello/goodbye.

She was about 11-12 when he passed and spent about 5-7 years at the ST. Joe's CHILDREN's ASYLUM She said this was the happiest time of her life, she had friends, went to school, etc....

Her mother's name was florence alfonsa vaccaro

Any assistance, or memories would be appreciated. I think I am narrowing my search back to NJ. I live in upstate, NY so it's difficult and my grandma's now 88 and this is basically 80 years ago...my grandpa just passed and i've been doing this about 20 years and haven't found the grave yet (found the rest of the family though, all the ends except the one that started this).

Thanks
