The State Home and School has received quite a bit of news coverage over the past years. We have established an oral history project and have been collecting stories from former residents and would love to talk with you as well. We will be releasing a CD collection of excerpts of these interviews later in the year and are continuing to collect stories from residents who lived at the Home as long ago as the 1920s and as recently as the late 1970s. And, you are certainly right, the stories we have heard are "good" and "bad."
