I am looking for any information on Lethe (a home for orphans and hard luck children). I am specifically look for information on Ernest Darracott who was born in 1886 and is listed at Lethe in the 1900 census. Ernest's two cousins were also at Lethe -- Garland Hobbs and Bertha Hobbs. Lethe's records burned, so they are not able to provide me with any information. I am hoping that a family out there would have some records of their own about Lethe or Ernest.
