My mom passed away 6 months ago. We have no information on her or her family. I have been searching on ancestry.com but to no avail. I do know my mom was an orphan in one of the orphanages in South Carolina, possibly Columbia area. I really need to know her past and any ancestry information. Can anyone give me any advice on how to do this.
