My dad was raised in a Catholic Orphanage in Milwaukee. It could have been St. Josephs. I know that it was later turned into a day care center. As a child, we would go there for an annual picnic and on Sunday's to visit the sister that was the main care taker for my dad during his stay at the ophanage. He was born in 1930, was given to a foster family for a few years, but brought back by the church because a member of the foster family was getting a divorce. My dad never wanted to find out who his relatives were, eventhough it was offered when he turned 18. I am searching. I am going to call Sister Brenda to see if I can get any information. I will keep you posted.
