It sounds like her but on her head stone it says she was born 1858 and died in 1927.
On the 1880 census it has James E Davis 24, Ann 21, Ameila 3 and George 2. ( Jermiah and Sarah Davis are just above them on that census and lived next door by the address )
I wonder if George Hannah on the 1850 census could be an Uncle .
My grandmother told me that Ann's father died in a prison camp in Virgina (civil war ), he died from gangreen. Ann's mother then passed shortly after. Ann and I think her brother or borthers were taken in by family.
Did you ever hear that story ?
On the 1900 Delaware census and on the 1910 Pa. census it shows Ann as being born in Pa.
Ann gave birth in 1902 to James , she would have been 44 years old at the time of his birth. The Ann on the 1850 census would have been 59 to old to have a baby.
She remains a mystery.
