Hello everyone,

Started going through some old Cabinet Card pictures again and trying to date them.

For this one, I found that the photographer was in business from 1895-1910 and based on the beveled gold edge and pale green color of the background, it appears to be before 1900 - but this is just from my limited research and I could be totally off!
So I am wondering if anyone has a guess based on the clothing? The necktie seems pretty distinct. When I search for 1890s mens fashion the coat and tie seem wrong. the picture was taken in Montreal if that means anything ;-)
