I got these from my mother in law & she told me:
The first woman is her grandmother, for sure;
the third woman is also supposed to be her grandmother;
but the second woman is one of two in another photo, and she had no idea who they were.
After scanning the photos at 1200 dpi and studying them closely, now I think all three are the same woman. Unfortunately the angle and tilt of the head is not exactly the same in all three photos, but at least it is the same side of her face. It looks to me like she is wearing the same earring in 1 and 2. I think she is youngest in the center photo.
My daughter doesn't think the shape of the earring can really be made out, and that I am seeing what I want to see. Am I snatching at straws? Any opinions out there?
Thank you in advance for any help!
PS: After getting two replies, I have added the original photo from which #2 was enlarged. Also, I forgot to mention that there is at least a 20 year time span encompassing these photos.
