From the Pittsburgh Press, 12/16/1920 (Pittsburgh Press):

Rev. Dr. A. McLean, for 25 years president of the Foreign Missionary society of the Disciples of Christ, and more recently first vice president of the United Christian Missionary society, died yesterday at Battle Creek, Mich., according to word received last night by Rev. Franklin R. Payne, pastor of the Knoxville Christian Church. Dr. McLean was known in Pittsburgh. In 1919 he presided at the international conference of the Christian Church here.
