MOJELSKI: Pauline Mojelski passed away on August 26, 2012 at the age of 96 years at the Kamsack and District Nursing Home. A Service of Remembrance was held on August 31, 2012 from the Chapel of Andrychuk Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Riverview Cemetery. Pauline was born on January 4, 1916 on her family farm, south of Kamsack, to Malasha and Wasil Podovinnikoff. She received her education at Aisne School. She had to quit school before completing her education to help out her parents on the farm. On December 14, 1932 she married William Mojelski. They farmed until 1937 at which time they moved to Thrums, B.C. William worked there for one year and in 1938 they returned to Saskatchewan and bought a farm and continued to farm for the next 30 years. In 1968 William and Polly sold their farm and retired to the Town of Kamsack. Polly resided there until her health no longer permitted, at which time she moved into a Nursing Home.
She leaves many cherished memories of being a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves to mourn her daughter Mary (Dan) of Calgary, Alberta, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Polly was predeceased by her husband, William on May 19, 1983; her only son, George, November 16, 2000; brother, John, May 3,1987, brother, Pete, 1989, brother, George, December 2, 2004; her mother, Malasha 1n 1978 and father, Wasil in 1933, as well as an infant brother.
