      <title>Freemasons in Virginia, ca: 1890-1940?</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/topics.religious.freemasons/2/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions about finding information about my great-grandfather, who was supposed to have belonged to the Freemasons in Virginia, somewhere between the years of 1890 and 1943 (he was born in 1870, and died in 1943.) I've already called/written back to a Freemason Library, asking for information, and they could not find anything. I'm positive that he indeed was a member, however, because it was through his membership that gave entry into "Rainbow for Girls" and "Demolay" for my mother and my brother. His name was Robert Walter Wilkinson (sometimes used Wilkerson), DOB: Aug 1870 near Dan River, Pittsylvania County DOD: 20 Jul 1943 in Virginia, (city unknown).</description>
