Hello. Not sure exactly where to post this. I'm trying to research my family, but neither side have been good with keeping records. I've traced pretty much everyone back to where they came to the US (mostly late 1800s, early 1900s). However, most of them have what I think of as typically 'Jewish' names, I'm pretty sure that some of them were Anglicized. Also, all of them came from areas in Russia, Poland, Austria, Hungary that switched between countries. Most of them also came over as children and I haven't been able to find records of maiden names for the women and immigration or naturalization records.
