SHYOPP ( SHYLOCK?) a Jewish surname?

Surnames: Shyopp, Shylock
I was told by my aunt that her grandfather (my great grandfather) was Jewish. He was from Munich, Germany. His name was Gotlieb and his brother was Jacob. I just found a record with his mother's maiden name as Shyopp. Other than this record, I cannot find any other Shyopps anywhere. Considering he would have been in America a short time, he might well have had a heavy accent and the closest name I can get from Shyopp would be Shylock. First off has anyone else ever heard of a Jewish surname as Shyopp? And would I be way off trying to fit it into being Shylock? And is Shylock a Jewish surname? Thanks for any replies.
