Seeking more information on my great grandmother REBECCA SILK (b. 09 May 1904-d. November 1968). Silk was born with the original name RIVKA SHELCO.

Rebecca married my great grandfather Abraham ROTH, originally named Avraham RUD (b. 15 April 1904-d.19 January 1945). They had two children, Norman ROTH (b. 14 October 1929-d. 20 January 2006) and Cecile Roth FRYEFIELD (b. 25 April 1935-d. 13 November 1999).

According to the 1910 Census in Fall River Ward 3, Bristol, Massachusetts, Rebecca's family name was spelled SILIK. They immigrated to the United States from Russia in 1907. She is the daughter of Nathan and Jennie SILIK, married approximately in 1885. On the census, Nathan is listed as a Yiddish teacher. She was 6 years old and the youngest of nine children at the time. Siblings are Hattie, Jacob, Sadie, Sarah, Bertha, Samuel, Sophie, and Molly.
Rebecca is buried in Fall River, MA. Any information you have on Rebecca's immigration to the United States, parents, and ancestry would be greatly appreciated.
