Try a book called "The German Churches of Metropolitan New York - A Research Guide" by Richard Haberstroh. It is available from the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society for $25.50. It lists a St. Peter Lutheran Church, 619 Lexingtion Ave, NY NY 10022. The book notes that the church was located at 46th and Lex from 1871- 1903. It is still operating(?) as I used to work across the street and sometimes attended noon services.
