Quarrel Over Woman Results in Stabbing

SAN FRANCISCO - Jan 17. - In the course of a quarrel supposedly caused by jealousy over a woman, at the home of Abe Schuben, 940 Rhode Island Street, Alek Karetoff, of 910 Rhode Island Street, was cut several times with a knife. He complained to Policemen Ritter and McTernan, and on investigation the officers arrested Schuben and charged him at the Potrero station with assault with a deadly weapon.

Karetoff's wounds were superficial and he refused to go to a hospital.
