When I announced publication of the _1980 Mолокан Directory_, Bill and Anne enthusiastically volunteered to be the editors for the San Fransisco section. They collected and verified over 100 household listings of Molokane in Northern California, a huge task. They are a beautiful and smiling couple.
William M. Loskutoff January 1, 1923-May 31, 2012 Bill a native of San Francisco was born at SF General Hospital. Son of Markel and Masha Loskutoff. Most loving husband of Anne for 65 joyful and happy years. He attended Daniel Webster Grade School and then Commerace High. As a yell leader in school he lead the alumni in many of their games. His military service in the Air Force was spent in China, Burma and India.
After his marriage to Anne, he served as assistant to the presbyter (заместитель пресвитер : zamestitel' presviter). Also he was the director of the Russian Sectarian Cemetery for the past 40 years.
Visitation and viewing will be held at the Russian Molokan Prayer Hall, 841 Carolina Street, San Francisco, Saturday 3-9 pm and Sunday at 10 am, followed by burial at the Russian Sectarian Cemetery, Colima, South San Francisco.
