Hi Cindi
Yes we are related. my ggg grandmother was Nancy Ann Richards Daughter of Thomas Richards son of Richard Richards 2. Thomas died early and the children Amon, Thomas and Nanny Ann were raised by their mother and were wards of Richard Richards. Thomas's wife Elizabeth did marry Charles Jones. Nancy or Nanny as she was called as a girl married Thomas Green in Baltimore in 1809. they lived in Carrol County for a while but moved to Baltimore. His son was Rev.John Jones Green and preached at Strawbridge Methodist Church in Baltimore. If you ever do DNA Testing let me know. Yes Captain Richard Richards 1 was Quaker but became Methodist eventually.
