I am searching for information on the Richard Richards Meeting House and school in Hampstead, Maryland. Currently, Hampstead is located in Carroll County, which was formed from Frederick and Baltimore Counties. My DAR Patriot, Richard Richards (1760-1834) built the first church (the meetin house) sometime before 1834. I do not know if this was a Quaker meeting house. Any information is appreciated.
