In The Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy it indicates that Aaron Walker was disowned in 1812 in the Westland Monthly Meeting. It does not indicate that it was because of a marriage. In 1825 the Flushing Monthly Meeting was given permission to reinstate Aaron, but I believe that he died that year. Does anyone have access to the original monthly meeting minutes for either of these statements? I would like to know the "bigger picture" - especially why he was disowned.
Thank you for any information you can share in this regard,
