I have a scottish birth record for 1803 with the christian name abbreviated. The name is for a male recorded as Ana followed by a small 'd'(or at least that is what it looks like) I can't identify any name that would be abbreviated in this way and there are no clues in the names of any other family members. I have attached an image of the entry.
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.
