Some unusual abbreviations.

Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me? I have come across some unusual abbreviations which I am struggling to make sense of. The info is:

Ann Giffard [6] (unm.) 1559 fw; m p1559 George Smith of Ashby, Leics and Wotton, Warwicks; (and had chn: Ann m Francis Meynell of Willington, Derbys c1560-.... QV).

I have managed to translate to:

Ann Giffard [6] (unmarried.) 1559 fw; married p1559 George Smith of Ashby, Leicestershire and Wotton, Warwickshire ; (and had children: Ann married Francis Meynell of Willington, Derbyshire circa 1560-.... quod vidē).

But I am not sure of the meaning of:

1559 fw and

Also, I am confused by the use of '(unmarried)' and then later 'married'. It seems to contradict itself, unless i have misunderstood (unm.).

Many thanks, Sarah
