Surnames: Crauco, Caruso,Craven
I am having the same problem. My grandmother name was Crauco. Her maiden name was Harris. I found 4 Italians coming from Italy with that name. However, it appears when they got in the US, they changed their names to Caruso and Craven. Only 4 families had the name Crauco and all lived in NCarolina(Craven). My grandmother lived in Louisiana in the 1900's. Now I am trying to find out where she got the name Crauco. If anyone has any info. please let me know.
